Lime API
A developer-first WhatsApp API: link any number with a QR code, send and receive through one REST API, and let webhooks, no-code automations and AI assistants do the rest.

The project
Businesses wanted to automate WhatsApp without per-message fees or a long onboarding process. Developers wanted a clean API that their existing Green API code could talk to without a rewrite.
We built Lime API so a number is connected in about two minutes: scan a QR code from Linked devices and every chat starts syncing. One POST request sends text, files, locations and polls, and incoming messages, read receipts and state changes arrive at the customer's server as webhooks with queued delivery, retries and replayable logs.
On top of the API sit a real-time shared team inbox, no-code automations for keywords and business hours, personalised broadcasts with spintax, anti-ban protection with random delays and send windows, team workspaces, and an MCP server so Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini can send, read and schedule messages directly.
What we built
- REST API compatible with Green API, so existing code works unchanged
- Webhooks with queued delivery, automatic retries and replayable logs
- Real-time shared inbox for the whole team
- No-code automations, broadcasts and spintax personalisation
- Anti-ban protection: random delays, typing indicators, limits and send windows
- MCP integration for Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Cursor
